My AC stopped working Friday night and with 100+ degree heat coming this week I was panicking. I called first thing Saturday morning thinking no one would come, Igor picked up and said he could be here same day. He quickly figured out it was a bad thermostat, replaced it with a new one, checked everything including freon and coils, and had us cooling again in no time. Verified I needed to replace my 20 year old AC unit. DWP was offering some attractive rebates to go with a heat pump, so I called GIV for an estimate. They were available instantly, but I had planned a little bit of lead time Oleg came over at the appointed time and took a look around. It's a little thing, but I appreciated the fact that he noticed we don't wear shoes in the house and offered to take his off without me saying anything. My kid was off from school and he was very kind to him. He gave a very thorough examination and explained his findings to me. He has an excellent eye for detail. He is very committed to his values and what his experience tells him and I respect his opinion deeply. We ended up selecting another proposal. In spite of that, Oleg was kind enough to give some advice in terms of the other proposals I was selecting between. I have no reservations whatsoever about recommending his services. He was very easy to work with and to talk to. And while I hope he doesn't have the opportunity to tell me "I told you so!", I would absolutely give him that chance.

Verified If you're looking for an AC installation company, stop looking and call GIV HVAC right away. We only had wall units and an old, broken swamp cooler before and they installed a complete central heating and cooling system from scratch. I just had them do the whole job and they were excellent. Verified I have used GIV HVAC numerous times, usually in the middle of the summer when temperatures are soaring, my AC breaks down. Igor is always very responsive and gets my AC running quickly, especially on more complicated jobs like an evap coil swap. He is honest and hard working, which is hard to find in contractors these days. To give an example, I recently installed a new thermostat in my rental condo, and did the installation myself. It was discovered that the heater was not working properly. I called Igor, and he could have charged me hundreds to come out and diagnose the problem. Instead, he looked at pictures of how I wired the thermostat and saw that one of the wires was in the wrong spot. He helped me correct the problem over the phone and the heater was fixed in seconds. I highly recommend their services for any HVAC issue!
